Well, the problems this morning were caused by "upgrading" to a Date
module in Drupal 5. The fact that released software caused such a
serious problem does not inspire confidence.

That is one approach, yes. And maybe it's best. But we've had a lot of
fragility in a lot of our systems lately and it's frustrating...
