Would it be easy to use this for XEPs downstream too, e.g. IO-DATA? Is
it difficult to access XML in the <iq> stanza? or to create XML for
the sent message?

We have a Java library for it, but would love to be able to use our
IO-DATA services from webpages, much like to call other XMPP nodes...
