Overview

Basic and Advanced HR will take participants to the study of the entire spectrum of Human Resource Management. Basic HR covers specific functions of HR like recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and performance management, and employee communication, among others. Advanced HR includes issues and concerns regarding HR, current trends and developments, Strategic HR, organization culture, Balanced Scorecard, Competency Models and the like.
Both Basic and Advanced HR are necessary knowledge in order to equip HR practitioners: beginners, emerging and seasoned, to cope with their HR jobs. Without them, HR professionals can never be successful.
 

Introduction

This 3-hour Masterclass will be short but sweet. It is necessary to equip HR practitioners with all the necessary knowledge that will “sharpen their saw.”

It will pave the way for HR practitioners to understand what the HR profession truly is and what is the true essence of taking a tough job such as HR. HR is more of an Art than a Science. It is not rigid. Life’s lessons, work experience, earned wisdom, will arm HR practitioners in handling various day-to-day situations involving all kinds of people: kind, mindful, humble, arrogant, smart-alecky, troublesome, lazy, stubborn, passionate, committed, etc. Every which way, HR practitioners have to act with professionalism and kindness all the time.
