Hello everybody.

This is the slide show I used for the XSF presentation I had at the ISO/IEC/IEEE workgroup meeting regarding sensor networks & IOT. I’ve been asked to chair one of three subgroups, and I’ll keep you updated to any progress made.

So this is interesting...

My guess is that the Board should arrange a formal liason - I'd suggest Peter would actually do that if willing. (I was originally thinking stpeter, but then realised this might be read as Peter Waher - but actually either's fine).

We've not had to do formal liasons before; our relationship with the IETF is such that we just turn up en masse and do the work there as needed, but I doubt this'll work with the IEEE.

I imagine that our friends in the IETF will be able to help out with figuring out how we arrange working practises with the IEEE, and may well be able to suggest the best approach.
