New capabilities are bing added to offer an Identity Provider (IdP) for our IPDX product using

XMPP which will  identify devices and authenticate devices and users that are connected to a network. 

This capability will offer the ability to assure that a device or users is authorized to participate in a

network and be able to share information with multiple users, devices, and applications.

 

The following attachment is a white paper on "Protocol Transformation defense against cyber-attack". 

It has been accepted as the cover story in CONTROL magazine and will be published in the June 2012 issue.

The newest version will also include changes supported in Window 8 and next version of Apple IoS due out next month.

 

Protocol transformation eliminates penetration of viruses and can control read/write access and policy administration on a packet level.   This capability prevents certain registers from being accessed or changes without authorization.   This capability is inherent in the approach which does not require a VPN.  Most significantly the end devices do not have to  include virus protection even when accessed via the Internet.  All traffic is secured end-to-end using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
