The 323 and 325 and the accompanying other IoT Xep's are as noted in experimental and needs feedback from other's. 

There are several that use them and one of the main advantages are the demand for "unit" in 323 and 325 when sending data between sensors and actuators

You might want to checkout http://www.xmpp-iot.org and https://github.com/joachimlindborg/SleekXMPP for the python implementation.
