Hi all,
Over the past few weeks, I have been advocating on behalf of the XSF to raise awareness within NEN (the Netherlands Standardization Institute) that XMPP could be an excellent fit for the Dutch NTA 7516 standard, which focuses on secure communication in healthcare.
This advocacy was primarily through the blog post we discussed last week, with additional follow-up via social media and email. As a result, I was invited to an introductory meeting with NEN earlier this week, and subsequently invited to join the relevant working groups.
Participation in this group would allow the XSF to contribute directly to the ongoing development of the NTA 7516 standard and ensure that XMPP is appropriately represented.
While I could join the workgroup on my own behalf, I would prefer to participate explicitly on behalf of the XSF. This ensures the organization is officially recognized as a stakeholder and that our collective voice and expertise are formally included in the development of the standard.
Before proceeding, I would like to request the Board's approval to participate in the NTA 7516-related working groups on behalf of the XSF.
I am happy to provide additional details or documentation if needed.
Kind regards,
Guus
