I'll try to make it.
I've got a meeting scheduled with the EDD's Architecture Review Board,
and they haven't yet let me know when I'm presenting.
As soon as I get a concrete answer, I'll post it here. Fortunately, with
5 members there's still a quorum even if I can't make it.

OK, let's hold a brief meeting this Wednesday (October 4) at 17:00 UTC,
that's 18:00 UTC+1. If that time does not work, please post to the list.
I can do 18:00 or 19:00 or whatever if that's preferable. The meeting
will be held in xmpp:council at conference.jabber.org (our usual venue).
A proposed agenda is here:
http://www.jabber.org/council/meetings/agendas/2006-10-04.html
The agenda is so brief because:
(1) I'm deep in revisions to the XMPP RFCs
(2) I'm working to re-launch xmpp.org on Wednesday
(3) the Council needs to select a Chair in order to function properly
(e.g., it's the Chair who sets the agenda for meetings)
(4) the Council has a backlog of proposed specs to consider, see the
last agenda from the Fifth Council:
http://www.jabber.org/council/meetings/agendas/2006-09-13.html
(5) I've received some other proposals too but have been waiting to
announce them until the JEP->XEP transition is finished
So I propose that we hold a brief orientation meeting this week and then
hold a more substantive meeting next week.
But one item we need to vote on (IMHO) is approving version 1.4 of
JEP-0016, which now contains all and only the content from Section 10 of
RFC 3291 (i.e., privacy lists) and which I propose we change from a
Draft Standards Track JEP to an Active Historical JEP.
Thanks!
Peter
