5.1) Outstanding Proposed XEPS

Peter Waher has submitted new revisions to HTTP over XMPP and Color Data Form Validation, but have not yet made it to the inbox. Will be considered once the inbox is updated.

5.2) XEP Editor Status

Discussion on the status of the current XEP editor. It has been suggested that a job description be drafted and the board or council solicit for volunteers. It has also been asked what can be done to distribute the work to multiple individuals. Peter Saint-Andre to report to the Board and Council how the XEP Editor role might be distributed.

No actions for the council at this time.

5.3) Jingle vs. SIP/SDP

Philipp Hancke brought up a question on XMPP direction for SIP/SDP versus Jingle. The consensus of the Council members present is to form a Special Interest Group (SIG) to explore technical direction and report to the council. The SIG leaders are Dave Cridland (chair), Philipp Hancke, Lance Stout, and Ralph Meijer; discussion will be on the jingle at xmpp.org mailing list.

Kevin Smith has a fortnight to comment.
