Kev, Daniel, Georg -1 in the absence of a strong argument. Sam and Dave to vote onlist.

The standards@ list is invited to provide motivation for this suggestion.

5) Revert the change to XEP-0048 that introduced pubsub back to the one using XEP-0049.

Agreement not to revert, but Kev volunteers to add a sentence to 48 to mitigate the complaint that people implementing it can’t know that other implementations still use iq:private.
