[jadmin] Presence via HTTP-Polling

Have a look at http://edgar.netflint.net   This bot is used on the psi
website and several other places.  It works reasonably well for exactly
the task you describe.  It's written in PHP, making use of
class.jabber.php.  Edgar basically adds himself your the rosters of your
users and caches presence data in a mysql database where it's is easily
added to webpages.
