OK, folks, I think this it. The versions of XEP-0166 and XEP-0176 that I
published last night address the last of the implementation feedback
that I have received over the past few weeks from Justin Karneges of the
Psi project / Barracuda Networks. It's my considered opinion that the
XMPP Council can safely advance XEPs 166, 167, 176, and 177 from
Experimental to Draft at its meeting next Wednesday. If you have any
last-minute feedback, please share it on this list before the meeting;
or, since XMPP Council meetings are open to the public, join
xmpp:council at conference.jabber.org next Wednesday at 19:00 UTC.

I'd like to thank everyone for their feedback on this list, in the
jingle at conference.jabber.org chatroom, and via private messages. I'm
sure that some adjustments will be made in the future based on further
implementation and deployment experience, but in general I think that
the Jingle specs have received more concentrated attention than any
other Experimental XEPs in the history of the XSF.

Let's move these specs forward and really start to build out an open,
secure, federated voice and video network using XMPP (not to mention
file transfer and all the other cool things we'll be able to do with
Jingle going forward).

Thanks!

Peter
