Hi,

We have a jabberd running for five days and this is what I see in top:
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
19237 jabber 15 0 28500 24m 2944 S 1.7 4.9 44:35.32 jabberd
19244 jabber 16 0 71500 66m 3460 S 1.7 13.2 46:13.88 jabberd

This was when there was no access to the jabberd. Still it uses 1.7%
CPU all the time. Also the memory consumtion is huge.
Jabber is configured for a intra-net only (see attached xml file) and
it has jub/muc services.
Currently a co-developer is using jabberd as an message bus for different
programms. As I understand there are about seven users of a chat room
exchanging strings.
What could I do to reduce memory and CPU usage?
