If you want a response, then let me brighten your day.

Your opinions on Jabber.com are wrong. I have decided that all of the
parties involved are honest and trustworthy people who have the best
of intentions for Jabber. I am very supportive of the major risk they have
already taken to fund full time programmers and adminstrators for the
Jabber project and for buying the trademark from another party who
may not have been as open source friendly. And, with no doubt in my
mind, Jabber.com has as of yet given more than they have received.

In my opinion, those that give more should have more say in the development
of a project. This is how it usually goes with most open source projects, but
the process can be a little more anarchic, or at least slower than what the
Jabber project is doing now.

I commend all the folks at Jabber.com for having the foresight to adopt the
open source development method in a profitable business.

And just so you know, I am not speaking for my company (which BTW is also
not an evil corporation, and is very favorable to open source software
and development), I am speaking for myself. IMHO, there are evil corporations
(Dennis Miller: "Bill Gates is just a monocle and a Persian Cat away from being
one of the bad guys in a James Bond movie.") but Jabber.com ain't one of
them.
