With all the Nomination for Council membership going on my request for
feedback may have been lost. :-(
I am considering being involved with the Board of Directors of the
foundation. The BOD is different from the council in that the Board
looks at business functions like promoting the foundation, finding
sponsors to donate funds, funding technical efforts that benefit the
foundation and its sponsors.
I appreciate your time and effort in reading my request and TIA for
those responding to my request.

Subject: [Foundation] Considering Board Membership JSF
I have been discussing with StPeter the issue of new board members for
JSF. I am interested in such a position, but I would like to understand
a few things first prior to volunteering for a position on the Board.
1) I would like to solicit ideas from the membership on what the JSF
Board should be doing or not doing?
2) Where should JSF be going?
3) Should JSF sponsor efforts?
Let me know privately your thoughts, I will use this information to
finalize my decision and assist in defining my platform for a position.
I will also compile the information in a neutral form for other
interested board candidates and general members.
Thank you for your assistance.
