Dear Mr. Gottschalk:
Thank you for submitting a proposal to moderate a Birds of a Feather
session (BOF) at the upcoming O'Reilly Open Source Convention -- July
22 - 26, 2002 in San Diego, CA.
Your BOF proposal has been accepted and I would like to schedule your
BOF for the following date/times. Please let me know if you have any
conflicts with this itinerary.

Title: Jabber and the Jabber Software Foundation
Date: Wednesday, July 24
Time: 9:00 - 10:00 pm
Location: Marina III
Moderator: Harold Gottschalk, CEO/Chief Technologist, IMissary, LLC
Summary: Jabber is a set of XML-based protocols for real-time
messaging and presence notification. The first application of the Jabber
protocols is an instant messaging (IM) system similar to AOL Instant
Messenger, ICQ, MSN Instant Messenger, or Yahoo! Messenger. A great deal
of software has been written in compliance with the Jabber protocols,
including several servers and a wide variety of IM clients for just
about every platform.

The BOF session information, as seen above, will be posted on the
conference BOF page:
