Quoting from the letter, the proposal is "to remove the term 'Jabber'
from the name of the JSF and from official names of protocols that the
JSF creates for compliance purposes (e.g. 'Jabber IM 1.0 Basic')."
Whether that would apply to individual JEPs, I don't know. There's
definitely a gray area. Basically, if it's something that's only inside
the JSF, it probably doesn't matter. If it's a name that gets exposed to
the outside world of users, that's when we shouldn't be using the Jabber
terminology.
