The bulb does emit light. In fact, the whole website's background is white. ;-)

I am not convinced that this would be better than the current logo.

The logo was designed in a vector drawing program. You can resize it to
whatever size you like and put it on the most funky backgrounds if you'd

Also, we already voted for this logo. It wouldn't be a good idea to patch
it, I think. Of course you can use fluorising paint for t-shirts.
