The JSF usually leaves such issues up to commercial vendors who sell
implementations of the Jabber/XMPP protocols, or to people who want 
specific open-source projects (e.g., jabberd2) to be appropriate for
carrier-grade deployments. Are there specific issues that you think the
JSF needs to address here?
