There is.  I just leveled up at 2am this morning after some marathon
questing.  Now that I'm a level 4 JSF "Jabber Fan", I can enjoy things
like the ability to view stpeter's webcam for free.  I still need to
advance a few skills before I can get to level 5, JSF "Jabber Buff".

Yes, same here.  As far as I'm concerned (someone tell me if this is
wrong), we welcome anyone who wants to contribute.  Anyone who has not
shown that they can, or they cannot elaborate on how they will, gets
voted down.  No, obviously it is not mandatory (or even all that
common) that you be a Member in order to contribute to the JSF.  I
have to admit I kinda wear it like a badge though.
