I think it's kind of implied that JSF members will have a JID. If they
don't then they need a good talking too. Perhaps we should amend the
bylaws for that.
Anyway, since most if not all [potential] members have JIDs, you could
always start up a chat with them. I'd much prefer that than having to
manually monitor a wiki talk page.
You could also start up a conference at the end of the application
period, and encourage applicants to stop in.
