Sure thing, Live Journal Talk is another great example.

Is that just a WebDAV server? (I don't know if jabbim.cz uses WebDAV,
but the concept is the same even if they wrote some special software to
do this). In general it would be cool for most XMPP server deployments
to be bundled with a WebDAV server for this kind of feature.

I can see why they would not want to open up their WebDAV server to
people who are not registered with them.

What are #1 and #2? The jabber.org server has ~194,000 registered users
and I know that mxit.co.za is perhaps even bigger than jabber.org.

Good question. It seems that this that might happen on a local basis
(e.g., some company in the Czech Republic might sponsor jabbim.cz).
