After just one year on the council I agree. Three would definitely be
insufficient, and seven would be slightly too many to hold fluent
conversations.

Once again I fully agree. The Standards-JIG, JEP authors and
implementors hold the real power. That was a refreshing surprise to me
when I joined. Long may it continue.
