The members are never able to know the true name. This the Internet.
Do you know my true name?
You know only the name I gave you and that's it. You don't know
whether it's my true name or not.

I think we have never based the ellection on a person name. We rather
base on what that person has done and if he is interested in active
participation in our community and our work.

If the person is known on the Internet by his/her nickname then I
understand he/she wants to apply using nick.

If there are any legal concerns with anonymous members I think we
could have a requirement to let our secretary know the "true" name but
I personaly don't need to know it.

On the other hand if the applying person is not known to me and I
can't find any information about him on the net I won't vote
regardless the name he uses.
