My name is Peter Mount living in the south east of England and working in
London and a member since the 24th of November.

I'm working on both my own open source XMPP library (not just client but
server) as well as developing XMPP components at work for our online games.

I'll volunteer for the technical review team (first) and infrastructure
(second).

For the technical team, I want to become more involved with the standards
themselves and from reading the proposed charter from the mail archives my
past experience from work and as I progress through implementing the various
xep's with my OS projects I'll be able to have a better understanding of the
existing xeps.

As an example, the following two jira tickets for the main xmpp project have
patches attached which fix a couple of schemas present in the subversion
repository - specifically they make the schema's valid:

http://kenai.com/jira/browse/RETEPXMPP-10
http://kenai.com/jira/browse/RETEPXMPP-11

For the infrastructure team, I used to run my own jabber server for
retep.org (it's now actually Google, primarily due to cost) however I am
part of the out of hours support team at GameAccount dealing with systems
spread over several data centres.

I'm now frequenting the jdev conference room when I can and you can get me
on the main JID peter at retep.org - although you can use my gmail address
petermount at gmail.com as a JID if urgent as I'm usually online with via a
blackberry.
