I currently maintain two separate Planets: Planet Jabber and Planet
Jabber News. The idea being that the former is for people working on
Jabber related projects, and the latter for product announcements and
other non-people stuff.

Although it is very easy to set up a Planet instance for XMPP, I am not
quite sure what the difference in feed subscriptions it would bring, in
comparison with Planet Jabber.

I am with Dave that if Cisco is indeed turning away from exploiting the
Jabber marque for branding its products, we should run with it. Maybe
even make that formal.
