You're right when you imply that most members will not attend many
'open' Board meetings (or at least might only pop in for a few minutes).
But I do not think that even if all 50+ XSF members that the meeting
would descend into chaos, and even if it did, at least that would keep
us all alert.
We want to achieve 2 things here:
1. Transparency
2. Transparency without a great deal of effort :-)
Open Board meetings or 'some' Open Board meetings and publishing the
chat logs would achieve this.
