Right. I've spoken privately (I don't think I've ever done so
publically) about the possibility of removing voice from people
who're becoming disruptive in meetings. But even in the most
contentious, and popular, meetings, we've not had to do this.
In general, there's a small core of people who're present for nearly
every Council meeting, and a somewhat larger group who drift in if
there's something that interests. I can't think of a time when the
input from these people has been anything less than helpful.
It's somewhat frustrating that we don't record attendence by non
Council members, actually, since it means we don't formally recognise
the contribution by thoe people.
I'd note that I see no reason to allow non-members into Board
meetings, though - that can be an exciting priviledge of membership.
