[Members] Application period Q3/2012

I was planning to work in something like "XEP-0196: User Gaming",
then as I said I abandoned such idea. To be honest I never intended to
work in other parts of the protocol. Also, XMPP is well developed and I
noticed all discussions were about quite specific and advanced
extensions, nowadays. I'm still learning the basics, so I didn't feel I
could help much. In the other hand I'm really into the discussion I just
started in the standards list, Login with OpenID.

Anyway, I don't
think I will reapply, I can't promise an acceptable level of commitment.
Thank you and sorry for not being of much help.

and more than welcome to chip in with your ideas of what the XSF should
be doing - but in particular, I'd be interested to know what's stopped
you from participating in this way before - and whether it's something
we can fix.

don't know whether I should reapply, I haven't participated in any
discussion or decission at all. My federated XMPP server is up and
running and I'm still working on my idea of a game server. However I
came to the conclussion that I don't need extensions of the current
protocol to achieve what I need. Maybe just a new method of users
authentication, but I will discuss that in the standards list.

Thanks, Alex, I've created my application page! :)
