I agree that it makes sense for the Canonical Repository to be hosted
under our direct control.
Host a mirror on GitHub or wherever, use GitHub pull requests or mail or
whatever the Editor, Authors and Contributors are comfortable with in
your workflow. But if there is a difference, The Canonical Repository
is always right. And I would prefer if one is not limited to single
vendors for things like this. Federated things FTW etc.
