These look OK to me. A couple of things they're lacking are a pointer
to a discussion venue, and a teaser task list. For the 'chat client of
choice' one I'm not sure we can blanket offer that it gets implemented
in any client - we'd have to have one of the main developers of the
client also acting as a mentor for such a project, I think, so we'd
need to know in advance who would be mentoring the projects (The usual
rules for mentors would presumably also apply here - needs to be
someone we know and can vouch for as being suitable for mentoring).

I wonder if putting some more into the blurb at the top of the IoT bit
to refer to places people can read more about IoT (also expanding the
machine2machine acronym before first use), and explaining slightly
more in the details what's involved for each project - students will
likely have no prior IoT experience, and won't know what e.g. 'Smart
Logic' means.

For the hardware project, who's providing the hardware for the student to use?
