Since the inception of the XSF in 2001, I have functioned as the XEP Editor. Recently I've been thinking that it would be appropriate to turn the XEP Editor function into an XSF Work Team as described in Section 8.3 of the XSF Bylaws [1]. There's really nothing magic about the editor role [2] and I've become a bit of a bottleneck, plus I think that transparency would improve if we had a small team of people serving in this role.

If XSF members think this is a good idea, I'll write up a proposed charter.
