As far as I'm aware, 2k keys are still considered perfectly secure and
are recommended for the forseeable future. Increasing key length does
not necessarily make something "more secure"; without knowing the
consequences of using 4k keys, I would not advise it. Especially for
security issues, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
