Believe it or not, but we have that in Gajim. And no, this does not fix
the problem. The sender knows the message got lost, but the receiver
doesn't! *THAT*'s the problem!

You should have a look at Gajim. We implement ESessions and XEP-0184,
thus we know the real world problems which are ignored in the theory
and found solutions for them. Adding a <body> to message was one of
