1) Role Call
Present: Jonas, Dave, Georg, Kev
Better-late-than-never: Link

2) Agenda Bashing
The agenda already appears to be suitably bashed.

3a) Last Call: XEP-0280 (Message Carbons) - https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0280.html
Dave thinks this one is ready and is happy to take up the role of Shepherd if nobody else wants to. Jonas supports the LC and is fine with Dave shepherding. Georg agrees with the LC, but is not yet convinced that it's ready to advance. Kev isn't convinced an LC would be productive if Georg is unconvinced, but won't block progress.
Dave says that if Georg will definitely reject then there's no need to bother, but this would be a good opportunity for feedback that may get it across the line. Georg thinks there has already been enough opportunity, and needs to re-check his own feedback to see whether everything was included. Jonas suggests that Georg could re-submit his earlier feedback for inclusion - Georg largely agrees, but says not much happened the previous times.
Kev would prefer waiting until everything is in order before doing another LC - Jonas tends to agree.
Dave asks whether Georg feels confident the XEP could get to Draft this time - Georg would rather wait for implementation experience of the new namespaced copying rules - Dave says this isn't a requirement for Draft; Georg thinks the LC might at least make developers aware of the change.
Dave is OK with rejecting the LC, but would still like it to happen someday. Georg doesn't want to end up with a Draft that requires secret knowledge to implement correctly - Kev agrees. Dave suggests the possibility of encouraging server implementations, or gathering feedback on reluctance; Jonas suggests encouraging or investing in upgrading implementations.
Dave concludes to reject the LC for now.

3b) Last Call: XEP-0300 (Use of Cryptographic Hash Functions in XMPP) - https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0300.html
Dave says the authors are presumably active, but Jonas has offered to shepherd if necessary.
Georg thought the hash algorithm list had been moved to its own Informational XEP - Jonas thought so too, but apparently someone hasn't merged it yet; Jonas declares it shall be done before the LC is issued.

Jonas: +1
Kev: +1 (may as well)
Dave: +1
Georg: -1 (pretty sure +1, but would like a quick glance to confirm)
Link: [pending]

4) Outstanding Votes
Dave doesn't think there are any.

5) Next Meeting
2019-06-19 1500 UTC

Georg will be 'absent' again next week.

6) AOB
Dave thinks XEP-0357 (Push Notifications) looks enticing for a Last Call, but vaguely recalls that Kev was going to do some edits - thinks discussing those might mean Guus will have comments, given his recent implementation experiences. Kev thinks it needs a chunk of love first, and hasn't quite got to the implementation that would uncover those changes.
Kev wonders how bad it would be to just advance with the intention of fully replacing it later, instead of waiting for the perfect version.
Dave asks whether Kev is in a position to shepherd - Kev will ask for help if needed.
Dave slates it for an LC next meeting.

Link makes a well-timed appearance - will read the minutes and catch up on-list.

7) Close
Thanks all.
