The Board has reviewed the logs, consulted the moderation team, and sent a detailed private response to Travis. After careful review, the Board upholds the moderation team's decision. The ban has now expired, and Travis' access is restored. The XSF is committed to an open culture where all opinions, whether consensus or minority perspectives, can be freely debated. However, we must distinguish between expressing a strong opinion and engaging in disruptive behavior. We are actively using this incident as an opportunity to review and improve our moderation processes. Moving forward, the Board is working with the moderation team to refine our procedures and explore more nuanced tools for handling future escalations.
