Hi all,
The XSF infrastructure team is planning to move our mailman installation
from a dedicated machine to a cloud service. When doing so, we also plan
to delete some lists that are no longer in use or that could be replaced
with chatrooms. Do we feel the need to keep this list for coordination
among server operators, or could we use the operators@ chatroom instead?

I've moved on from XMPP to running a car club and there's so little chat here
I'm happy either way but best to drop me off the list anyway.
It was great knowing you all at arms length, I hope life has and will treat you all well.

I would like to keep this list. Maybe not everyone has joined the MUC, maybe there might
be a reason of needing a second channel to communicate, for example when there is a larger
outage or similar that is preventing the use of XMPP.
Additionally some topics may be better discussed via mail.

I would like to add that the operators muc is still unusable (for some
people) due to the affiliation bot being absent. I asked jonas about
this already and he said he would have someone fix it, it has been a few
days and it is still not fixed, nor have i been given an affiliation.

As a non-contributor I don't feel I have a vote but would you mind
posting the full JID of the chatroom that's supposed to replace this
list? Is it public or do I need to be a part of the organization?
