[JDEV] Jabber and PHP trigger

Don't know about PHP (I don't know the status of jPHP), but Perl and
Net::Jabber could do the trick. I hacked up the chatbot code a bit to get
and put data in our MS SQL 7.0 db. So I can send a message to
chatbot at jabberserver and I can get or put data in the db. You can do the
same with a Perl CGI - I haven't used Perl to do this, but JabberBeans in
a servlet works great.

Right now it just parses the actual message text - just like the original
chatbot does. I'm working on our own namespaces to fit better. Then I'll
just parse XML - not the message text itself.

Hope that helps. Take a look at the chatbot code in cvs.

(If anyone can help me get chatbot not to reconnect every two minutes, I'd
appreciate it!)
