I think the feature score and software listings are powerful tools for
the organization to encourage protocol adoption. For example, we've
focused specifically on compliance in Wildfire since it's a useful
marketing tool. I do agree that an updated compliance score system and
more objective measurements would be a good thing, but I don't think we
should give up the tool until that's done. Although it's imperfect, the
system still has value.

In the short term, I would recommend that the council approve new server
score matrix criteria and that we maintain a self-reporting system while
moving towards more official compliance testing.
