Hi folks,
Despite the lack of configurability comfort, I've transitioned from Openfire
to Prosody to fix outbound S2S and cipher limitations. I still hate manual
editing of config files with a passion, but I think user's security and
proper connectivity has higher priority than my personal (dis)comfort.
Bonus: smaller footprint without the JVM behemoth loaded.
StPeter: I don't know if you have to manually edit the published XMPP server
list, but if so, I'm now running Prosody 0.9.1.
All the best,
MC.
