1) Roll Call
Present: Jonas, Zash, Daniel, Georg
Apologies: Dave

2) Agenda Bashing
None.

3) Editor's Update
* Nothing out of the ordinary.

4) Items for voting
Jonas notes that, as this is the penultimate meeting of this Council, any votes started now will run the risk of expiring with the end of the term.

4a) Advance XEP-0443 (XMPP Compliance Suites 2021) - https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0443.html
Daniel questions whether the feedback was addressed - Jonas notes there was an update yesterday [1].
Daniel: +1
Jonas: +1
Zash: +1
Georg: +1
Dave: [pending]

Zash feels there could have been more feedback, though there isn't such a great difference from the previous Suites which was obviously accepted. Jonas is glad it didn't turn into a huge war of semantics and pedantry this time.

4b) PR #1001 (XEP-0393: clarify rules for span directives) - https://github.com/xsf/xeps/pull/1001
See [2] for relevant war of semantics and pedantry discussion.
Jonas: [on-list] (didn't look into it yet)
Daniel: [on-list]
Georg: [on-list]
Zash: [on-list]
Dave: [pending]

Jonas begs for everyone not to let this one expire.

5) Pending Votes
One each for Daniel and Dave on Pre-Authenticated In-Band Registration (expiring next week.)

6) Date of Next
2020-11-18 1600 UTC

Jonas may forget about the meeting while repenting next Wednesday, which is a public holiday in parts of Germany, but will try hard not to.

7) AOB
Zash wishes everyone good luck in the elections.
Jonas reminds everyone to cast their votes, and thanks Alex for his efforts in organising it all.

8) Close
Thanks everyone, Tedd, Alex, and all.
