I have a problem with bots endlessly exchanging messages.
An unknown command. Type "help" for a list
of commands.

In order to avoid that issue, I am considering to replace that message
with a status message, yet some mobile clients do not show that message
while chat is open.
So, I would resort to change the status type to "dnd" and "xa", and
perhaps also "offline", in order to utilixze it as an indicator.
However, having an option to send transmit contact photo in a selective
fashion would definitely be helpful for this situation.
In an article, I demonstrate the benefits of status messages as
indicators for bots.
