[Foundation] Anonymous Ballots not Secret Ballots

I believe what may have been meant by Secret is really Anonymous. Why
does any one persons detail on their vote need to be made public? I
think every individual that has been nominated and volunteered for a
position would be better off not knowing who did or did not vote for
them. IMHO. I think it is natural for humans to begrudge those that
did not vote for you and it is in the best interest of JSF to limit that
negative human sentiment. I think that we are intelligent enough and
free thinking to make our own choices. The by-laws have addressed the
potential influence of one company vs. the general membership.
I believe that the totals will be disclosed for each nominee at the end
of the voting period. What more do we really need? My understanding is
that if their is a protest that voting can then be inspected.
We have a fairly democratic organization that has endowed us the tools
to change things as we need. I am a believer of free speech and that
each individuals opinions have value. I am extremely impressed at the
openness that has been demonstrated so far by the Executive Director of
the foundation, the JSF technical leadership and members in general. It
has been at times a painful transition from a small organization to a
legal membership entity with multiple interest.
