Not quite true. Only JSF members can be JIG Leaders (whatever *that*
means) but that anyone may participate in and be a member of a JIG.
However as mentioned, this point may soon be moot.

The executive team (currently Andre and I) have completed some necessary
tasks over the last 6 months, such as tying up loose ends related to
incorporation and such. That doesn't address the big issues, but those
issues are not mere administrivia, they are much larger. Jer's post is a
step in the right direction to getting that cleared up.
