You may be correct in comments about how many people are interested in
the Trade Mark issue. Good time for a show of hands/vote.

We as a company know what direction we will be taking but are also
wanting to do our part with the Foundation and thus made our offer.

PS: Have a copy of your book - Congratulations

Some people feel strongly about membership and the trademark issues.
That's perfectly fine. Other people don't. That's also perfectly fine.

In my opinion, a forum such as this mailing list, which is more lenient
to world (time) membership than a point-in-time live meeting and allows
people to contribute when their individual circumstances permit, is a
better place for this sort of discussion.

I don't personally think changing the discussion platform to a slot in
an hour-long live meeting will bring much, as not everyone who cares
strongly and/or matters will be there.

Then again, that's not to say that it's not possible to do that - you
could have suggested an agenda item to stpeter (I did, about something
else, for this meeting tonight, for example) - he's an extremely busy
but also an extremely accomodating chap. Indeed, I'm sure he's not
averse to someone taking over the agenda now and then.

Kind regards
