i totally agree. Lots of people, jounalists and friends of me never heard
about XMPP. But they heard from Jabber. And they know what Jabber is. When
we remove the word Jabber now then we begin from 0 again.

yes Jabber can much more than only IM. And people develop other than IM
applications now. And thats the reason why i voted for the 2 very nice
logos which displayed this with the XML Tags and <> sign. But now we have
this logo that sais nothing about Jabber/XMPP. Pictures can say sometimes
more than words. In my optinon we should talk about a new logo not about
the word Jabber and XMPP.
