IMHO keeping this as one feature will eliminate most current nearly-XMPP
implementation. It is just too early now. Eg. my CJC client implements:
StartTLS, SASL, new error handling, session initiation. Only
privacy-rules and SRV resolution are missing (the latter is nearly
done). I can't say CJC is XMPP IM 1.0 compliant, but it still have much
more of those features that most other Jabber clients.

Isn't that part of the "core". Maybe you mean something more specific.

It is quite a lot of feature. I don't think table containing all of
thease would be readable. But it would be nice if that information is
available somwhere "near" that list. Maybe as search keys and on
"details" page.
