There are lots of small projects about Jabber. This is a good thing :
people experiment, try stuff with Jabber. But we also need a set of
stable software.
What about a JSF-certification process ? developers could submit their
software for review by the JSF, which could check
documentation, JEPs-compliance, etc and then award a certification, and
advertise certified software on its website.

The problem I see with this is that different languages need different
APIs...
