Sometimes it's good to get a small group of interested people together
to talk about things like security and VoIP (in fact I ran a security
list for a while and started a VoIP list last week, though neither
is/was an official JIG). Not sure we need official sanction to do that,
and I prefer to keep things informal if we can (although some would
claim that then we have no accountability etc.).

I agree that http://www.jabber.org/protocol/ could be improved. I'm open
to suggestions, or if someone wants to hack up a replacement I can slot
it in.

I wonder if O'Reilly would be willing to "open-source" DJ's book and
then folks could hack on it to update it for developments since 2001...
