Hi all,
I've been "informally" evangelizing Jabber for several years. I met RalphM
at BarCamp Amsterdam last year and got more closely connected to what's
happening in the JSF. I'm hoping to help plan Jabber world domination.
Failing that, I'll settle for an increased presence at various open source
conferences and events. I'll be at Euro OSCON 06 in Brussels this September
-- there is also a Dot Org Day where there will be a Jabber booth.
My day job is running a company called Bryght, which works with open source
technologies including Drupal (a CMS and application framework), Jabber, and
identity systems.
I just recently helped announce an early-early-super-alpha of a Python-based
Jabber server called Pretzel:

You can find my Jabber raving under the Jabber tag on my personal blog:

I tried for a while to say Jabber / XMPP...but it made no sense. XMPP is the
official, IETF standard protocol. It's hard to build a community around a
protocol (anyone part of an FTP users club?)
Jabber is for people :P
